I almost died at 3 weeks of age from a rare form of menengitis. They said if I survived, I could be deaf, blind, retarded, you name it....but my mom still remembers the day when she went into the doctors office and he said "nothing wrong with this little girl". I'm 47 today. Praying you get a great report for Ramsey for the future as well. Miracles can and do happen!!!
PaigeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5799937829443177408.post-59414705161706396642011-01-27T16:55:26.182-05:002011-01-27T16:55:26.182-05:00Oh and I wanted to add, we were told the same thin...Oh and I wanted to add, we were told the same thing about Charlie's lung size (very small) and now at 11.5 months it is fully inflated and perfect. Just want you to keep hearing positive stories!!!

Jennifer HolmesJennifer Holmesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5799937829443177408.post-11818845960305711552011-01-27T16:52:55.403-05:002011-01-27T16:52:55.403-05:00YEAH!!! He hated all the tubes and they tried to wean his morphine too soon after surgery so he was really uncomfortable. He didn't seem that bothered by the NG tube just the ET tube and the rapogal(spelling?) Once those were gone the feeding went really well, slow but well.

Jennifer HolmesJennifer Holmesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5799937829443177408.post-17965914915618734012011-01-27T12:55:17.656-05:002011-01-27T12:55:17.656-05:00Thanks Chad- I was thinking of Alea and wondering ...Thanks Chad- I was thinking of Alea and wondering what type of tube she had.Testhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09416766775019413586noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5799937829443177408.post-30775924438651255852011-01-27T12:22:54.584-05:002011-01-27T12:22:54.584-05:00This is all such great news! NG tube for Alea caused alot of reflux, the G-tube caused none. Alea was a different baby when the NG was out and the G-tube was in. She was alot happier.
Take care,

Chad BenderAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5799937829443177408.post-90031669586598593202011-01-27T10:53:25.073-05:002011-01-27T10:53:25.073-05:00THANK YOU JESUS.THANK YOU JESUS.Aunt Vetanoreply@blogger.com
