Good to hear he is stable, and may God's loving hands hold him through surgery.
As a comforting thought, I was telling my husband about Ramsey last evening, and he told me a story of his college roommate's nephew who is a CDH survivor. He apparently now has a kevlar diaphram is a rowdie 12- or 13- year old, riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers!
I know that is a roller coaster of emotions when you prepare yourself for surgery and then it gets postponed. I remember on the morning of Dakota's surgery, it was also supposed to be at 8am, and we got there super early, all geared up emotionally, and then I heard it was postponed. I just sat there crying and crying. I was so ready for it, I just wanted it to happen. But there is a perfect time for everything, and it will happen! Many prayers for a stabile day!
