Wednesday Morning - Day 56
Ramsey didn't gain any weight yesterday, but he stayed the same so that's not too bad. Hopefully he'll gain a little today. We are still planning on a Friday discharge. Plans are being made to have a monitor delivered to our home. A nurse will visit twice a week for the first two weeks. Following that, they will determine how often he needs to be seen.

Still praying that Friday will be the day. We are all so anxious for the big day. We know that GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF HIM.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I read a post, I have to comment because our stories are so similar. Charlie has SIGNIFICANT overlapping sutures. They said part of the reason was they gave him so much Lasix to keep his lungs dry, he just didn't gain much weight in the hospital. They have set your feeding goal much higher than our was. I was so tired of pumping and nursing at the same time! His sutures unfolded after we were home for a while and he started gain weight and now his head looks totally normal, it did take a long time.
